Hello!
My name is Vincent Vincent, and I am a full-time BACP-registered person-centred therapist in Croydon. I provide compassionate and inclusive counselling in South London for LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families, friends and allies.
I’m here to support you on your journey towards healing, self-discovery, and growth. Whatever you want to explore, I offer a safe space where you can be you.
I understand from personal experience the idea of therapy can be overwhelming, especially if you’re feeling unsure or anxious. So please feel free to contact me for a free informal chat to talk through any questions you might have, and we can take things from there.
About me
I hold a Level 5 Higher Professional Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy (Lewisham Counselling & Counsellor Training Associates) and I’m a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework. (BACP Registered Member: MBACP 411131)
My experience includes working with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ages, and sexual orientations. As a person-centred counsellor, you – the client – are the focus of our sessions. You’re at the centre of the work we do together and I’m here to support you, and offer a safe, accepting, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely.
I work with clients across a wide range of issues including:
• LGBTQ+ counselling
• Sexuality and identity exploration
• Building fulfilling relationships
• Managing shame
• Relationship and family issues
• Depression and anxiety
• Health issues
• Feeling insecure, sad, or angry
• Low self-esteem
• Low confidence
• Addiction and recovery
• Trauma and abuse
• Loneliness and loss
• Work-related issues
How I work
You have the flexibility to choose between short-term or open-ended counselling, depending on what feels right for you. Short-term counselling involves setting a specific number of sessions, while open-ended counselling allows us to continue working together for as long as you need. We’ll regularly check in on your progress and review how you feel things are going. My approach is flexible, and the decision of when to end is always yours, so we can review and adjust as needed.
I offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation via phone or Zoom. This is a chance for you to get a feel for how I work, and see if you feel comfortable talking with me. We can discuss your needs, and I can answer any questions you might have.
There's no obligation to book further sessions after the call – it's completely up to you. If you do decide that you’d like to work with me, our future sessions will last 50 minutes.
Availability & Fees
I offer both online and in-person LGBTQIA+ therapy options. I work Monday to Thursday - both in-person and online - and have flexible working hours.
